In 2008, I attended my first meeting at a Rug Hooking Guild on the
north fork of Long Island. I was immediately taken with this fiber art
and set out to find wool in various thrift shops near our home.
I tremendously enjoyed the “the thrill of the hunt” and accumulated
basket after basket full of wool.
One day, I looked at all the wool and realized I could never use it all.
Thus a rug hooking business was born!
I soon added recycled books, cutters, finished primitive hooked rugs
and various other items to the recycled high end 100% wool we were
selling. Some of the new items are wool rug hooking kits and wool
covered magnets to hold your scissors and hook.
